A Real Music Shop Built for Musicians

Ben’s Music Stop is an independent music store in Bathurst, New Brunswick, proudly serving local musicians and customers across Canada.

Our Story

Ben’s Music Stop was founded on a simple idea: bring back the feel of a real music shop, where musicians feel welcome, supported, and inspired the moment they walk in or visit online.

Music has been part of my life since I was a kid growing up in the 80's. After working for more than 20 years in manufacturing and procurement in the mining sector, that lifelong passion became a reality with the opening of Ben’s Music Stop in January 2023.

The goal was never to be just another store. The goal was to create a place where every guitar on the wall tells a story, every customer feels like part of the band, and musicians can find quality gear with honest advice and real service.

Independent. Personal. Built Around Music.

We combine the selection and pricing customers expect from larger retailers with the personal touch, care, and accountability of an independent Canadian music shop.
